As you know, childhood obesity is one of the greatest epidemics in our nation and prevention begins with physicians like you. Join the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (Ohio AAP) for a Parenting at Mealtime and Playtime (PMP) training session in Jackson county, OH, to learn the latest education and tactics to prevent childhood obesity.
The PMP curriculum provides physicians and other health care professionals with developmentally appropriate nutrition, healthy activity, sleep, and family-child interactions that support healthy habits and environments for 0-5 year olds. The emphasis in the PMP is on providing families with easy to apply information that they can use in their homes to build healthy habits for their young child and the rest of the family. The trainings review the background on why it is critical to address health habits at a young age and what habits are key to long-term health.
All attendees will have the opportunity to win an Apple watch that will be raffled off at the training (prize funded by the Ohio AAP).
