In conjunction with lead education, the Ohio AAP is proud to share its lead safety educational board books, “Thanks for Keeping Me Lead-Free.” These books contain guidance about where lead can be found in the home and how families can avoid exposure to lead. The books can be used during office visits to start the conversation with your patients about lead safety.
Copies of this resource come in sets of 60 and can be shipped to your home or office free of charge. We anticipate shipping these books in March. Please place your board book order on the Ohio AAP website.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ohio AAP Education Program Manager Suhavi Salmon-Rekhi, MPH.
For additional education and resources, visit the OAFP website.
