Family physicians in all Ohio counties now have the opportunity to receive free childhood and adolescent immunization education from the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics (Ohio AAP).
The Maximizing Office Based Immunization (MOBI) program is a free, statewide immunization education and training program developed for health care providers. They are one hour, in-office presentations that offer one hour of continuing medical education (CME) to eligible participants. The Ohio AAP is also offering the Teen Immunization Education Sessions (TIES) program, which focuses on adolescent immunizations.
- Practical information you can use to achieve the complete and timely immunizations for infants, children, and adolescents
- Quality improvement strategies to identify and track ways to improve immunization rates
- The latest information on immunization recommendations, schedule changes, missed opportunities, practice-based consultation, and parental refusal
- Free AFIX Assessment, a practice-based consultation and feedback tool developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
