In an effort to increase Ohio medical students’ representation at the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students (National Conference), OAFP Foundation created Student Scholarships. The $600 scholarship is intended to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for students to attend the conference.
Student Scholarship winners were selected from a pool of students who had applied for, but did not receive, the AAFP Foundation’s Family Medicine Leads Scholarship or the Ohio Delegate and Alternate Delegate Scholarship.
