In May 2021, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) hosted a series of three successful webinars moderated by OAFP member Mary Krebs, MD, FAAFP, to provide an opportunity for Ohio’s family physicians and their practice teams to learn more about breast and cervical cancer. The recordings are now available on the OAFP website for enduring credit, at no cost to you!
This webinar series was produced in partnership with the Ohio Department of Health’s Breast and Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP), which works to assist women in Ohio with accessing and navigating breast and cervical tissue cancer screenings. The BCCP’s Patient Navigation Program helps guide women through the healthcare system, find providers and community resources, and answer questions about scheduling appointments, using insurance, and more. To make these services available, BCCP partners with approximately 500 medical, clinical, and laboratory providers in Ohio.
