Inspire medical students and residents to explore all that a future in family medicine has to offer! The 2022 American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students (National Conference) is accepting Workshop proposals for conference sessions. The submission deadline has been extended to Monday, November 15.
The National Conference planning committee is seeking educational programming for allopathic and osteopathic students and residents that showcases the broad scope of family medicine. Attendees are particularly interested in interactive formats and innovative ways of learning about family medicine. Sessions should be 60-75 minutes in length, with at least 10 minutes allotted for Q&A, and should include no more than four total presenters. Next year’s conference will be held in person Thursday-Saturday, July 28-30, 2022, in Kansas City, MO.

This is one of the most effective platforms for educating medical students about family medicine and sharing resources for family medicine residents. In 2021, this event welcomed nearly 5,000 attendees, including more than 1,800 medical students and over 1,400 residents.
