The 2018 Chief Resident Workshop was held May 5 at the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians office in Columbus, OH. After the meeting, the group was able to connect with their peers and network during a happy hour at the Clintonville Rusty Bucket.
A total of 21 residents from 13 Ohio family medicine residency programs attended the workshop led by Scott Morris, DO.
Dr. Morris led the group of soon‐to‐be chief residents in discussion on understanding the roles of being a chief resident, learning leadership styles, managing feedback and conflict resolution, and determining priorities and opportunities for delegation. The workshop was interactive and attendees were able to participate in numerous case studies.
