The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) will host a special edition Bite-Sized Learning session on Tuesday, February 23, at 8 p.m. titled, “Black Representation in Medicine: A Roundtable Discussion.” Members can join the conversation by logging on to the OAFP’s Facebook page or YouTube channel to watch live.
In conjunction with Black History Month, the OAFP is excited to host this session to create a space to celebrate and highlight the experiences of a panel of Black family physicians and medical students. The panel of leaders will share their stories, passion, and contributions to the Academy, the specialty of family medicine, and the practice of healing. Plan to join us live to participate in the conversation and share how we can diversify the face of medicine now and moving forward!

The OAFP will host regularly scheduled learning sessions on Sunday evenings as we have speakers and topics. Members can join the conversation by logging on to OAFP’s Facebook page or YouTube channel to watch live. Live viewers can submit questions and comments throughout the session. The sessions will be 40 minutes or less!
