Join us for the next Bite-Sized Learning Session on Sunday, June 21, at 8 p.m. live on the OAFP Facebook page.
Moderated by Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) President-Elect Mike Sevilla, MD, this week’s session will feature two guest speakers discussing the importance of philanthropy in family medicine, some of the current challenges of this work in the emotional and financial stress of a pandemic, and the valuable programs of the OAFP Foundation that cultivate student career choice in the specialty of family medicine.
Our guest speakers joining us for this dynamic conversation will be current Foundation chair Pennie Marchetti, MD, a family physician in Hudson, OH, and Keith Lehman, MD, current Foundation trustee, past Foundation chair, and family physician in Archbold, OH.
We are all craving time to connect and figure out ways to reimagine and reinvent daily protocols and processes in practice. What better way to close this gap and find solutions than to learn directly from your family physician peers?
This series of Bite-Sized Learning Sessions has been created to serve as an opportunity for members to come together during a time when connecting and learning from each other is crucial. Join family physician presenters as they share their story of transition, practice pivot, or a newfound joy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The OAFP is hosting mildly-moderated learning sessions on Sunday evenings at 8 p.m. (as we have speakers and topics). Members can join the conversation by logging on to the OAFP Facebook page to watch live. We open with a brief welcome and then turn it over to the moderator and member presenter. Following the interview, we open it up for questions and answer through Facebook comments before signing off. The sessions are an hour or less!
