AuBree LaForce, of Vermillion, OH, who is a medical student at the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), has been named to serve as the American Academy of Family Physicains Student Delegate to the American Medical Association Student Section (AMA-MSS). AuBree’s appointment was recommended by the AAFP Commission on Education and confirmed by the AAFP Board of Directors.
Ms. LaForce has been a member of the AAFP and OAFP since 2017. She gives her time, passion, and expertise to a variety of local and national organizations – most notably her work with the AAFP National Primary Care Leadership Collaborative, as vice president and chair. Ms. LaForce has taken what she’s learned in the role to proactively facilitate change, system-wide at her university through the Primary Care Leadership Collaborative (PCLC) at NEOMED.
Ms. LaForce recently served as the 2019 Ohio medical student delegate to the National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students. In addition, she serves as student trustee on the OAFP Foundation Board of Trustees.
