You’ll surely be in the right hands with expert speaker Kim Yu, MD, from Aliso Viejo, CA. Dr. Yu’s has interest and experience with physician well-being, advocacy on health equity and workforce initiatives, community health work, and disaster medicine and relief. She is currently the director of quality and performance, ambulatory/urgent care division at Vituity. She is actively involved in the American Academy of Family Physicians, having served on the Commission on Membership and Member Services, the Subcommittee on Health Equity, and as the Convener for the National Conference for Constituency Leaders. Currently, she serving as an AAFP Physician well-being panelist and speaker for its Physician Health First initiative and as chair of the AAFP Global Health Member Interest Group. Dr. Yu also played a pivotal role in the Family Medicine for America’s Health initiative as member on the Health Equity core tactic team. Outside of her Academy related commitments, Dr. Yu also works with the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA), currently serving on the Organizational Equity Committee and as the convener for the Health Equity special interest group.
