The National Conference for Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students (National Conference), hosted by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), is the prime destination for family medicine residents and medical students who want to explore all the specialty has to offer.
Set for Thursday-Saturday, July 28-30, in Kansas City, MO, the National Conference was created just for residents and medical students to learn more about family medicine, develop leadership skills, influence AAFP policy, explore residency programs, and connect with potential employers. Don’t miss your chance to gather with others excited about family medicine and experience National Conference for yourself!
Medical students can explore what family medicine is all about with programming designed to enhance your family medicine education. Prepare for clinical rotations in the current COVID-19 environment, visit with residency programs before applying through ERAS, and get the inspiration you need for transitioning to residency.
Family medicine residents can refine clinical skills through sessions designed specifically for you, meet with potential employers, learn about post-residency opportunities, and prepare to transition into practice with confidence.
Registration completed on or before Friday, June 17, is $175 for medical students, and $200 for residents. Access registration, the conference schedule, and additional event information on the AAFP website.
Family Medicine Leads Scholarships to National Conference are provided by the AAFP Foundation.
