This program will review emerging evidence on the nutritional implications of incretin-based therapies (IBTs) in individuals with obesity and diabetes. It explores the association between IBTs, nutrient gaps, and muscle health, and presents targeted nutrition strategies to address these concerns.
The course emphasizes practical, evidence-based approaches to support long-term patient health. Emerging evidence on diabetes-specific formulas (DSFs) and beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB) will be explored.
