The American Academy of Family Physicians and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians will be submitting detailed responses to the proposed 2019 Medicare physician fee schedule in an effort to steer the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) toward fixes that will help family physicians provide the comprehensive, continuous care that patients deserve.
While these responses are being drafted prior to the Monday, September 10, comment deadline, the AAFP has supplied members and chapters with a wealth of information on the proposed 2019 Medicare physician fee schedule released by CMS on July 12.
