To help students learn about the world of possibilities in family medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians is recording a live webinar on Friday, September 21, at 2:30 p.m. called “What is Family Medicine?” The webinar will cover the basics of the specialty and show students why there’s no career quite like being a family physician.
The webinar will be hosted by Natasha Bhuyan, MD, and Wayne Altman, MD, two family physicians who have taken rewarding and unique paths in private practice and academics, respectively. Participants will learn important facts and information about the future of the specialty, as well as hear personal stories from the hosts. Students will have the opportunity to submit questions before and during the live webinar.
Registration for the webinar is open. A recorded version will also be available online for on-demand viewing at a later date.
