The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians is seeking six (6) more practice teams to take part in a cancer prevention quality improvement (QI) initiative. Ten practice teams per track will be selected on a first come, first serve basis – hurry; only six (6) spots remain!
- Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Improvement
- Breast & Cervical Cancer Detection and Prevention.
Last year’s results are in! In just three to 12 months of protocol implementation, participants in last year’s CRC Screening Improvement project showed an overall 46% improvement rate. This program makes an impact and will improve rates – period. With the addition of a new topic track, we are excited this time next year to share similar results around breast and cervical cancer screening rates!
“The ability to work with my colleagues and staff on a unique level, outside of the office environment, working collaboratively with a common goal, is an opportunity that will absolutely transform your work environment. Not only did we improve communications and processes between team members, we impacted patient care in as little as three months. I urge you to take advantage of these truly worthwhile events that will have a drastically positive impact on your team-based approach to care.”
We hope you will consider claiming one of our remaining six (6) spots and join us as we make an impact on population health, one screening at a time.
