Resident Employment Contract Review Reimbursement

We understand and appreciate how complex it is to be a graduating resident and we want to help make the transition to practicing full-time family medicine as easy as possible. To help ease that burden, the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) provides its resident members with financial support to have their Ohio employment contract reviewed by an attorney of their choosing. Consider it our commitment to the next generation of family physicians beginning their journey in the Buckeye State!

Qualifications and Stipulations
The OAFP will provide its resident members with financial support to cover the cost of a legal, Ohio employment contract review up to $414 (value equates to the first year of Ohio active membership dues). Residents must provide a detailed receipt from an attorney, along with the completed reimbursement request form.

Financial support is only available to OAFP resident members who will be practicing in Ohio following graduation.

Requesting Reimbursement
To request reimbursement, please complete the request form and upload the detailed receipt from your attorney.

If you have questions, please contact Emily Pavoni or call 800.742.7327.
