She earned her medical degree from Ohio State’s College of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at the Fairfax Family Medicine Residency Program in Fairfax, VA.

“My mission statement has been to provide excellent care to all patients who are not always able to identify it or demand it,” said Dr. Macerollo. “As I have had more and more roles in developing and teaching students, I have had to modify this mission to ensure my students go out into the world and provide this care throughout the country.”
