Join the Fight to Fix the SGR

The fight to repeal the flawed sustainable growth rate (SGR) for physician Medicare payment is on.

Just before Christmas, Congress extended the current level of Medicare payments to physicians through the end of February. Barring another Congressional delay, a 27.4 percent Medicare payment cut will take effect on Thursday, March 1.
