Women, Infants and Children Introduce new Food and Formula Package

Starting Thursday, Oct. 1, Women, Infants and Children (WIC) will implement the biggest change in its supplemental food choices since its inception over 35 years ago.

These changes will affect the documentation that local clinic staff will need from physicians in order to service mutual clients with special dietary needs.

Please review the fact sheet Introducing the New WIC Food and Formula Package and a short tutorial that details the changes and explains the requirements.

Contact your local WIC office if you have questions.
