The Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS), is a Medicare reporting program requiring you to submit quality data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to avoid payment cuts. Depending on the reporting method, the reporting deadline is Friday, February 26, at 5:00 p.m.
Why is Friday, February 26, important? If you do not report 2015 PQRS measures by this date, you will be charged a 2% penalty to your 2017 Medicare Part B payments.
The American Academy of Family Physicians can help as it has partnered with PQRSwizard to offer members an easy-to-use reporting solution—at a reduced price—for both individual and group providers.
