OAFP kicked off the 2007-08 Student & Resident Affairs Committees with a fun day of canoeing and camaraderie at Mohican Adventures, Loudonville, Ohio, on Sept. 23.

The day started with a networking picnic lunch and brief Mega Spring Event Family Medicine Student Retreat planning exercise. The day concluded with a two and one-half hour, seven-mile canoe course on the Mohican River. The event was high-energy and high-fun which forged new connections and friendships among Ohio's students and residents of family medicine.
