"Family medicine has always been very good to us. We love it and have enjoyed our life in family medicine. If you love something, you owe it to society to support it both financially and by volunteering to serve in some capacity. When we are gone, we want the OAFP and AAFP Foundations to continue supporting family medicine and the patients cared for by family physicians. Establishing a charitable remainder trust was an easy choice. Some of our estate will go to the two foundations and 22 other charitable organizations that we love and hope will continue."
