"The practice and teaching of Family Medicine has been an integral part of my life and it certainly has affected Nancy and me throughout our marriage. The chance to help people throughout their lives is such a privilege. Giving back (financially) to this professional 'family' just feels very right. The foundation is the 'base'. Without a strong foundation, it would be very difficult to provide funding for the many wonderful programs the academy and foundation provide for current and future family physicians and for Ohioans in general. I believe that it is our responsibility to leave a legacy to ensure Family Medicine remains the specialty of choice for Americans."
