One of the primary objectives of the Academy, as stated in OAFP’s 2010-13 Strategic Plan, is to maintain effective communications throughout this time of rapid change.
It is crucial for all members to be aware of the proposed and approved policy changes and the activities accomplished by OAFP. To that end, OAFP has expanded its use of communications tools to ensure members are able to receive important information in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
The Academy is also committed to communicating to the general public to raise awareness of the value of family physicians.
OAFP provides this timely news and information through its quarterly magazine, weekly e-newsletter, e-mail blasts and public information service.
