2017 Date and Location TBD
The American Academy of Family Physicians’ National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students (National Conference) is a three-day event designed for residents and medical students to participate in special lectures, workshops, procedure courses, clinics, and to meet and network with other residents and medical students from around the country.
Capitalizing on the AAFP’s high energy event, the OAFP Foundation hosted an Ohio-only reception for all students, residents, and program directors registered for the National Conference. Not only did the reception provide a venue for Ohio’s attendees to network and meet face-to-face, it also provided a setting for each attendee to get all of their questions answered about all things Ohio including involvement in the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians and residency programs across the state.
In 2016, the complimentary reception was held on July 28 at Bar Louie Kansas City. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments were available.
