Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Foundation (OAFP/F) encourages students to choose a career in family medicine and to become leaders for the specialty, Ohio Academy of Family Physicians and OAFP/F. Retaining the family physicians that are trained in Ohio medical schools and residency programs is a key to improving access to health care for Ohioans.
OAFP/F provides scholarships and preceptorship stipends that link students and residents with family physicians providing important exposure and insight to family medicine and its impact on patients and the community.
